Project invitations can be as easy as party invitations

With Ryte’s new settings you gain more transparency and control over projects and users. Speed up your invitation workflow with our efficient settings setup.

Summer is around the corner, so perfect timing to get the BBQ out and enjoy longer evenings. But BBQ is best enjoyed with friends and family - so why not invite them to a BBQ party? Now there is a decision to make - do you want to invite them all in separate messages or all at once in a group chat?

I’m sure most people would choose the second option - just out of convenience.

But what does that have to do with Ryte? We’re not throwing a big BBQ party, but we still have a surprise for you: We changed our settings!

What is new?

Get a clearly structured overview of and easily manage all your projects and users of your organization.

Now it is easier than ever to invite multiple users to your projects or a single user to multiple projects in one go. That sounds like party time. 🥳

To access the new settings, just follow the familiar path: Click on your profile icon and go to “Account”.

Our new settings are divided into 3 sections: Project settings, user settings, and subscription settings. The latter hasn’t changed. Please note: Only account owners have access to the user and subscription settings.

Our new project settings

In the new project settings, you can see all projects listed that you have access to. With the search bar on the top right side, you can look for a particular project. When you click the “Create project” button, you will be redirected to the classic project setup page and can add a new project as usual.

In the table, you can see the name of the project, the date of the last analysis, an overview of how many URLs of your budget you have already used, as well as the number of users who have access to this project. In addition, you can also change the URLs used for each project right here, without having to access the individual project’s settings.

When hovering over the right end of the table, three dots and a drop-down arrow appear. The three dots open a shortcut menu, from which you can directly access the individual project’s settings, start a new analysis or delete the project.

The arrow opens a drop-down menu, containing a list of users who have access to this particular project. Here you can change a user’s role with just one click or add new users to the project. Imagine an agency starting a new client project or a German company adding a new project for their English website, and adding all their employees at once. Saves so much time!

Please note: Only account owners and project managers can add new users and change user roles. Learn more about user roles and their permissions.

When adding new users, account owners receive suggestions from users within their organization, project managers do not receive suggestions. This is an added privacy feature that is especially important for agencies. With this feature, an agency that handles multiple projects can ensure that their customers can’t see the users list from other customers. However, it is also possible to add users outside your organization.

When adding a new user, their role can also be specified directly in this step. However, it’s always possible to change the role later in the drop-down menu of the project overview.

To come back to our party invitation example from the beginning - another handy feature of the new project settings is the ability to invite numerous users to multiple projects in one fell swoop. To do so just tick the box at the top. This presents two choices: Select the projects on the current page or select all projects.

However, it is also possible to just select individual projects.

Our new user settings

Please note: Only account owners have access to the user settings.

In the new user settings, account owners can see a list of their organization's users. You can look for a particular user with the search bar on the top right side.

In the table, you can see the users’ names and the number of projects they have access to.

When hovering over the right end of the table, a drop-down arrow appears. When clicking on it, a list containing all the projects this user has access to appears. In this list, you can change a user’s role or revoke their access. Learn more about user roles and their permissions.

At the bottom of this list you can find a “Add to project(s)” button. When clicking on this button, you can add a particular user to just one or multiple projects. Imagine having a new employee, who needs access to multiple projects. Now you can add them to all projects in just one go.

Just like in the project settings, you can also invite numerous users to multiple projects in one fell swoop. To do so just tick the box at the top. This presents two choices: Select the users on the current page or select all users. However, it is also possible to just select individual users. When you have selected the users, you can either add them to just one or multiple projects or remove them from the organization altogether.

Our subscription settings

Please note: Only account owners have access to the subscription settings.

Our subscription settings haven’t changed. Account owners can still get an overview of

  • their next renewal date

  • the cancellation period

  • project budget and how much has been used

  • user budget and how much has been used

  • URL budget and how much has been used

  • Sessions

Moreover, you can find the cancellation button, as well as anything related to managing your subscription (invoices, payment methods, etc.).

Inviting users to different projects or numerous users to the same project can be annoying and time-consuming. With Ryte’s new settings, you gain more transparency and control over projects and users. Obtain more configuration rights (add people and change roles yourself) while maintaining the same privacy (no access to other user lists). With our new, efficient setup, you can process invitations swiftly - leaving you with more time to have BBQ parties.

Ryte users gain +93% clicks after 1 year. Learn how!
